Ready for Halloween

I made up my Halloween post for MySpace. I made Tom into Frankenstein. I'm happy with it. I love it when a plan comes together.

Weekend

Jenny and Jake came by and spent the night Saturday. It's always nice when they visit. We love it!

Torrents

I did some more experimenting with Bit Torrents today. As good as it's SUPPOSED to be, I just can't get it to work well enough to impress me the way I've read that it should. I'll keep trying a little more but I'm almost ready to hang it up and stick with what already works!

DVD's

Today I played around with WinAVI converter and DVD Shrink and learned how to burn a full-size DVD onto a single disk. SWEET! Plus I played around with Bittorrent and I am learning as I go but it looks promising.

It was very windy all day today!

WeighDay

I had a good weigh day today. I was a little worried with all the beef and stuff that it might mess me up (these things have in the past) but it didn't. Great, 'cause it was good!

Food Good!

When I look back on the day to decide what I'm going to write about, I look at the mundane stuff, the stuff out of the ordinary and the high points (if any - we're talking about MY life after all). Today definitely had a high point and it was Barbara's dinner. We had the rest of last night's roast and her outrageously good roasted vegetables. The roast was just as good tonight as it was last night. DEE-licious!!! And her veggies are exceptional! I love it. Food is always a high point with me.

Regular but Tasty

It was a regular Sunday. Football and NASCAR but no Drag Races. I watched the football and NASCAR and ate the excellent Roast that Barbara made for dinner. UMMMMM.... it was GOOD!

Car Wash

We washed the car and did some shopping today. We played cards and played on-line. Just another typical day.

Zip... Nada

Nothing much happened today. I talked to both my brother's regarding our legal problem with the Willows Home Owners Assn. And Barbara fed me well. She stays within the boundaries of my diet but pushes it with Meatloaf for dinner and her Egg & Cheese thing for breakfast. It's all good!

Legal Stuff

Today I scanned the legal documents that I received from Les, and emailed them to Debbie, our realtor in Ridgecrest. She and some of her people are going to read them over and then we will proceed in one of several possible directions. I won't worry about it until next week.

Nothing Day

Not much going on today. We both played on MySpace. We received the plastic teeth we ordered for Halloween treats. I received the legal papers from my brother.

Rebuilding

I spent most of last night and all of today, rebuilding my MySpace profile page with a Hallloween theme. I got it done and I'm happy with the results. It was worth all of the effort.

Baby Back

Barb came home from her babysitting stint at Jenny's house. I'm always happy when she's home. It was necessary that she went, but I'm glad she's back.

Late....

The Sunday's that the NHRA Drag Races are on TV are better Sunday's for me 'cause I really enjoy watching Drags on TV. Many times the start of the races may be pushed back because the previous sporting event is running long. I understand but never like it. Today's Drags were preceded by a soccer match and I was checking in on them to make sure my Drags would be on time. It was all good, the match was over in time and I was all set for my races. NOT! They broke in with a PGA golf thing that was running long on ABC! In order to keep ABC on schedule they just shifted it to ESPN (which is OWNED by ABC) and my races were an HOUR and 50 minutes late starting. Geez! Golf....BAH!

Gone Grandma

Grandma Barbara went to Jenny's house to baby sit her favorite Grandson, Jacob, this weekend. It all works out. Everybody is happy. Everybody wins!

The 20's

I had a good weigh-day today. I reached a personal goal and broke into the twenties! I'm happy but I've gotta keep it up.

TCB

It was a good, well rounded day. We went to the store, Watched Boston Legal with lunch, worked on my profile page, burned some CD's and watched Thursday night TV, which IS the best night for our programs.

Joey's Grave

I re-worked my Vibrator MySpace page yesterday, so today I re-did my Joey's Place also. Following Barbara's lead, I put up a spookier Halloween theme. So far I'm pretty happy with the results. But I'm sure I'll be tweaking on it for awhile.

New Page

I up the fight with MySpace and completely re-did my profile. I am very happy with how it turned out.

I'm Right Dammit!

I've been having problems with MySpace about our different interpretations of "Offensive" pictures. And although I obviously disagree, they have the power and final say-so. I will just have to adjust my thinking and go along with the program.

Typical Sunday

I spent most of the day doing what I do best... watching TV. Sunday's are all about football and car races. Most of the outcomes were not what I had hoped for but it is always fun watching. Then we watched a new movie on cable and the Amazing Race. When CBS starts showing Medium at 10 o'clock, Sunday will be complete.

Connections

As I was making my post for last nights blog entry, our WI-FI went out. Crap! It happens from time to time but the trade-off for the speed at which it delivers our internet is worth it. Hey, all in all I love it. Without it I doubt if we could use our MySpace pages. If we could, it wouldn't be as much fun for sure. We love our WI-FI and we love our MySpace too. So we forgive them when they act up. Yep!

Meatloaf

No, not this Meatloaf....

This is more like the tasty meatloaf my sweetie cooked up tonight. It was delicious and she is the greatest cook I know. Plus, she is a heck of a Canasta player. If I play my cards right I can win both ways!

Nothing new

It rained hard late last night. The weather reports had called for rain all day and finally showed up around 11 o'clock. That's it. That's the only memorable thing that happened yesterday.

Tom

Since MySpace deleted my Vibrator images I felt it was only fair to make a new profile picture showing that I'm just a massager. So I cut and pasted Tom's mug on the picture for effect.

We have a problem! I think I found out why the scale may yell at me tomorrow. It's Weigh-Day Tuesday and it is time to pay up. GULP!

It was a good day.

Around this time of year, Sunday's are my favorite day. With both the NHRA and NASCAR having races on TV and Football games all day long, what's not to like. And it was better than usual because Henry was here! We watched TV and when we were full (of TV) we downloaded enough "Primus" and "Rage Against the Machine" off the computer to burn him a couple of CD's for the road. Now he has gone back to DeLano and I have get back on my program.

...and I had a Wendy's Cheeseburger and it was goooooooood!

Yum!

We had Chinese Food for lunch today. It's been quite a while since last time and it brought back pleasant memories of better Chinese Food places. I over-did it, but I know it'll be a L-O-N-G time 'till I have it again so I lived it up!
