My Best Friend

It's my best friend's anniversary! I'm so lucky

to has such a good friend. I'm especially lucky

'cause she married me! I love her very much!

Special

This is a special weekend for Barb & me. We are living it up

and enjoying ourselves. Barb made us a great dinner with

some delicious Cheeseburgers. And for dessert she made up

one of her special Chocolate layer cakes. They both were ex-

ceptional. We're trying NOT to go too far overboard, but it's

going to cost us on weigh day! No biggie, it's the price we

decided to pay for our special weekend. YUMMY!

WAIT!

I originally going to talk about the thing that I

put off last night... WEIGH DAY! Today was our

day to weigh ourselves and I was very pleased

with results. You get to dread the scale and the

anxious moments as you look down and....

Woo-Hoo, today they were good numbers. But

MySpace took over our emotions. We are addicted

to MySpace! It is a good addiction but an addiction

none the less. And this morning MySpace was having

a major meltdown. It showed all of our profile pages

as being deleted. Knowing that they DO in fact delete

people from time to time for no particularly good reason,

it had us scared. We elected to be patient and see what

would happen. Luckily, later they did restore our pages

but even then MySpace was acting like it needed a set

of spark plugs or an enema. Anyway it all seems to be

all better now and we are extremely glad!

Shopping

We went on a road trip to beautiful Turlock today.

We needed to stock up and you can't beat the prices

at the bigger stores. So we hit Costco, Wal-Mart and

Target and spent a lot of money... but saved a lot of

money. WE LOVE TO SAVE MONEY! It was a nice trip.

Let's Make A Deal

I talked to my brother's today and we decided to

sell some stuff (or at least try). I called around to

get the ball rolling. Good thing that Barbara will be

there by my side so I'll have someone to cheat off of.

I always liked sitting next to the smart, pretty girls

in school. Now I got one of my very own!

Chillin'

Thank God for our AIR CONDITIONING! We just hung

around our Crisp Cool house and kicked back. It was very

HOT again today. We did manage to wash the car before

it got too hot this morning. Other'n that... we just chilled!

Picnic

Barb went with Jenny to her company picnic. Jake & Chris;

Jay, Jana & Levi; The Swanson's; Ray & Nick; were there also.

It was as hot as Hell today but they had swimming to help keep

cool. Me, I stayed home in the air conditioned house watching TV.

RIP Uncle Fred... say hello to Mom for me.

1 of them days

Boy, today was one of those days. Both of our computers

decided to go crazy. Barb stuck to it and got hers back.

Mine is OK but could be better. I'll work on it s'more today.

Computers are SO SMART.... and SO STUPID!

Stem Cell Research

I was very disappointed that our President is so narrow

minded to Veto the Stem Cell Reseach bill that was passed

by the House and Senate. It was a bipartisan bill that had

support of both parties. But the President killed it along with

the hopes of many suffering Americans. It pisses me off!

Hey, it works!

I'm always amazed when something works that I get

off the internet. I gather a bunch of parts and put them

together... then use a program to convert it's format and

burn it to a DVD disk. AND IT ALL WORKED! Cool!

Good Slow Sunday

It was another good Sunday with swell

company, great food and a lot of television.

Somedaze...

....There's just not much going on! Barbara

mowed the lawns but I didn't do diddly. EH!

Less is best

We had a good Weigh Day today. As much

as I try not to let a pound or two make or

upset my day.... it does! So today was a

good day and I felt great all day. YAY!!

Bad Vibrations

Awhile back PhotoBucket deleted my whole account.

I didn't understand why. Well, today they deleted a

lot of individual pictures again and they all involved

Vibrator. I don't know if it's the word or the image

but they deleted the pictures anyhow. Oh well, I'll

adjust and post Vibrator related stuff at Imageshack.

Trip Pix

We worked on the 1st day's pictures from Barb's trip

to San Diego. She had the Friday pictures from both

her and Jenny's camera's so we had two shots of each

scene or event. We went through to determine which

to use and then uploaded them to our Flickr account.

Flickr has a neat uploader tool that allows you to create

and upload the pictures automatically. I like Flickr!

YAY!!!

My baby... the love of my life... Barbara... is home!

This makes Joey a happy camper. They say that

absence makes the heart grow fonder... I can't any

more fonder than I am right now. I'm glad she's home.

Puzzled

I was all set to write about the new fonts that I've

found but my last couple of posts have disappeared!

I checked back under "Edit" but no nothing. Weird!

I would think, "Maybe it's me", but I know better.

Oh well, that's the internet sometimes!

Busy Bizzy

We went to Turlock to re-stock up on groceries

today. Then we cut and edged the lawn. Barb

cooked up a bunch of chicken and made a big

batch of Jello. We are trying to get things ready

for me to take care of myself this weekend while

Barb & Jenny go down to San Diego and visit Dean.

Plus Barb fixed a delicious Meatloaf for dinner. YUM!

We had CHEESEBURGERS today!

This IS a big deal. I LOVE cheeseburgers

and we have them so rarely now-a-days.

They were delicious!

Independence Day 2006

We are SO lucky to have been born in the USA.

I thank all those before us that gave so much for

our Independence. Most of all, I thank God!

It was a SLOW day today. Not much going on. I did

get to play both cards and Rummy cubes with Barb.

It's always double the fun when I get a two-fer.

But yesterday.... well, let me tell you!

The Internet signal to our house went out. It only

happens once or sometimes twice a month but it

is a large inconvienience. When you get as hooked

on the internet as we are, you need your connection!
