Watched

Today I re-designed both of my MySpace pages and then watched my copy of Clerks II on my computer. It's definately a guys movie. I liked it a lot and thought it was very funny (and gross!) My kind of flick.

The Hook-Up

We got Barbs new computer up and running today. The new monitor arrived just as we were hooking ieverything up so that worked out as well. It's a wide-screen LCD monitor with built in speakers so now she has good color and sound too. We got lucky and Jonathon from Netvelocite came by to finish getting our internet and email connected up properly. It all worked out well and the kids present is a great gift at just the right time.

Sew What?

Barb spent her birthday at Susan's house helping her out with some sewing for her home business. I just handled some real estate things and played cribbage on-line with Tom.

Representin'

Owen Swanson had his 1st birthday party today and Barb went to represent us at the festivities. I stayed home with my nephew Henry and watched DVD's that I burned.

NEWS FLASH!

Barbara drank a whole bottle of water today!

It's officially "Countdown to Thanksgiving" time. We went to the store, cleaned and prepared for our Thanksgiving dinner/ get together in a couple of days. It's gonna be a good time for all!

Let's see....

Looking back at the day... I had waffles for breakfast, watched a movie with my sweetie and scanned the real estate documents for the potential sale of the Robertson house. It's unusual for me to have actual food for breakfast so the waffles were the bomb!

Help

Barbara started her first day of the preparations for Thanksgiving. She Moved furniture, cleaned, straightened out and cooked both Chocolate chip cookies and a Meatloaf for dinner. I tried to help a little, and I guess I did more than usual, but nowhere near what she gets done without even trying!

Yummy

We went shopping in Turlock to procure the majority of the fixin's for our Thanksgiving dinner. Barbara is getting it all ready and her kitchen is set-up like a staging area. It's all coming together!

Nuts

I made this INSANITY CERTIFICATE to play with on MySpace. I was happy with the final product. I will personalize some to my closest friends tomorrow and comment their pages. Cool!

Paperwork

I signed the paperwork that Debbie Dibble over-nighted to me. They were counter offers to the 2 prospective buyers on the Robertson house. Hopefully they didn't get scared off by the mess they saw when they checked the place out yesterday. Let's hope it's all good.

Pissed

I got a call from the realtor to tell me that she took the buyers by the Robertson house and it was a wreck. She went into detail and even emailed me pictures of the trash and damage. I was pissed and disappointed on many levels. Oh well, we'll just go on from here and do whatever needs to be done.

Dealin'

The deal is real. I talked on the phone trying to tie together this real estate thing. Stay tuned, more tomorrow!

It's Over

It was the World Finals at Pomona today. It was the last drag race of the year. Tony Schumacher Made an unbelievable come-back to win the Top Fuel Championship. He had to win the last race AND set a worlds record to clinch it. It was really something. I felt kinda bad for Doug Kaletta who had the victory snatched from him. Oh well, there are always winners and losers.

the Departed

I was looking at my Entertainment Weekly and I saw their review of the movie, "The Departed". They really liked it giving it an "A" rating. I had extra time on my hands so I set out to find it on the internet. I found it.... downloaded it.... put it together.... and watched it on my computer. It was a good copy of a very interesting movie. I love it when a plan comes together!

I just a lonely boy

I'm doing OK... it's just kinda lonely here without the lovely Barbara around to torment. Things will be back to normal in a couple of days.

Barb-B-Gone

Barb went to Jenny's house today so I'm on my own.... WOO-HOO!

Zero

It seems like I did nothing today. ZERO! I know I played cards and messed around on MySpace but I didn't really do Jack! Oh well...............

Oh, we got Cool Whip!

We went to Turlock to stock up on groceries today. We SCORED on the Cool Whip! It was $1.38 and Barb showed no mercy. You go girl!

CD

I burned a bunch of CD's today. I've been downloading complete albums lately and I transferred them to disk so we can play them. I'll burn them on a data DVD for a back-up and delete them off my hard drive to clear up the space. I have plenty of disk space but there's no sense in added to it unnecessarily. It just slows your system down.

Typical

It was a typical Sunday as of late. NASCAR, Football and the Simpson's are the typical Sunday this time of the year. Next week is the last NHRA race of the year. I look forward to, and dread it at the same time. I'm anxious to see the Finals but regretting the fact that it's the last race until next February. Yay!.... booo-hoo!

Slow-Ass Saturday

It seemed like a pretty slow day today. Dawn was supposed to come by while attending a seminar in Turlock but it was cancelled at the last minute so she didn't come. There wasn't shit on TV tonight. If it wasn't for Barbara being here to play cards with and fix her delicious meatloaf, I'd be really screwed.

Same old....

....more legal stuff today. I paid to talk to the lawyer one more time only to have him tell me that like Heather Mills-McCartney, we don't have a leg to stand on. Oh well, we gotta do what we gotta do. It's still cheaper than the 10 grand Fred agreed to before.

Legal Stuff

I called the lawyer today for a phone consultation and he called the other lawyer to determine exactly how much they say that we owe. Since they say we owe $9000 for dues back to 1994, I plan on calling their lawyer and explaining that we didn't legally inherit the property until 2003. I will ask her to take them an offer of $5000 plus her fees which I feel is more than fair. We'll see.

Let's Get It On!

I was finally able to get in touch with the Willows Homeowners Association. They don't want to talk about their pending litigation, so I called a lawyer in Ridgecrest to represent us. I have an appointment to have a phone consultation tomorrow. We have to go to the mattresses!

Rebuild

I whipped up my new pages to replace my Halloween pages. I'm happy with them for the time being. I know that they will need little tweaks but they're OK for now.
